Evolution or creation...

What to believe?

Hello, We have seen and compared materialism and spiritualism in respect to the creation of the universe. Now, we are going to analyze and compare with this comparative view, the origin and development of life. Was this by means of evolution or creation?? It is possible that we already have an opinion on the subject but... how sure are we, of the way we selected our opinion, how did we arrive to that conclusion? The evolution of life by its own means and without the intervention of a Supreme Being is a solely materialistic point of view, not having a spiritual outlook. By accepting the development of life on earth by creation, makes IT spiritual and not compatible with the evolution before mentioned. It is very important to believe in one of the two. What is the difference of believing in one or the other?

Well, the individuals that believe and accept evolution believe that individual human life will last no more then 80 to 100 years and this in a not a very good outlook on the physical condition, specially at an older age. Scientists in the field of biology believe that in five or ten generations to come, humans will be able to live as long as a thousand years, due to the advances in science, Molecular studies also will help in this endeavor. This leaves everyone in a very optimistic mood. But how accurate are these forecasts?

If we are very realistic in respect to these predictions; not much, the highest life expectancy average is in Japan, and it does not quite reach 85 years even though biological and medical science have advanced, a lot what they have previously stated is still far from a goal they can reach. On the other hand those who accept the origin of life as God given and live their life according to His rules, have an expectancy of a better life and in better conditions and even a better future. We are going to study all this from its origin, from the start of life on earth. We will examine the first materialistic way of thinking and reason out its credibility.

According to the materialistic way of thinking, life started by chance at a molecular level on earth when it was very young. Or it arrived from outer space on comets or asteroids, what ever or however it was, as we discussed in our previous theme that in order for the molecules of the different elements to become the all things that are in the universe and on our planet they had to join in a very perfect way. This enormous amount of atoms had to repeat themselves over and over time and time again to form the different elements. All elements that exsits in the infinite universe including our own marvelous planet with its land and seas, it is highly improbable for them to have been self created.

We still have to talk about the organic molecules which are a lot more complex than lifeless elements because the organic ones contain the foremost engeneering marvel,... what is this marvel?? It is DNA where every instruction is contanied to produce a living form and for this to happen at a molecular level the process had to repeat itself at an atomic level and these atoms joined themselves in a precise manner to form organic molecules. And the had to wait to recieve something that would give them life, so they could continue a very complex process to be able to form the first living cell. This first cell discovered by itself that it could split and duplicate itself over and over.

This cell, because of the instructions in its DNA, made changes and continued until it formed a living creature that could have been a fish. This act could not had been fortioutus or unique because in the waters of the sea so many forms of life came to be. In time these species came out of the seas and into land and there they also knew how to make changes in themselves to form many types of species of organisms (according to some calculations about 30 millions of species), anything from microoragnisms to insects, birds and many more animal life as well as plant life of countless varieties. Let us look back at animal life and how as time passed they improved themselves by means of evolution until mankind came to be. For this to happen thousand of millions of years had to pass. Evolution had to go through many steps in order for us (mankind) to become or exsits. Us humans and all animal and vegetable species.

But, could it have happened like that?? Let us look at the probabilities, it is proven that when something very complex happens, it is very improbable that it happens by accident and the more complex, it is even less probable for it to happen by accident. It is true that coincidences do happen but what we are looking at is not related to that. Let me repeat myself and insist...all that exists in our universe is made up of elements, all different (we know of 118 of them), with the exception of the emptiness of space, because even light is composed of photons sent by stars through space and they contain a degree of energy. This energy together with nutrients and water can sustain organic life when it already exists. For life to begin it had to start at a atomic level and then to a molecular level in order to form different elements again, over and over until organic life came about. But, is this possible??? Could this have happened by mere accident??.

But let us continue...We would need for different organic molecules to join and then a "spark" of energy would give it life. This reminds me of Dr. Frankenstein, that gathered different body parts and with the help of energy from lightning bolts gave life to a dead body. This of course was considered by scientists as impossible. In the story the whole experiment was done by a scientist a very clever mind. But let us continue, different elements together with energy provided by the sun, produced a spark that gave life its start at a molecular level, these joined in an intelligent manner to form the first incredible cell, that, in in some way realized it could divide and make an exact copy of itself, but before this process, the molecules that formed the first cell, had developed the first DNA, this is a marvel of marvels, because within it, it contains all the engineering instructions, that if they are foloowed exactly, the cells would build the first living organism.

All of this requires some very intelligent guidance, this Supreme Intelligence, where did it come from? This first organism had to go through several stages of development, in a very intelligent way in order to form the first living creature. And this happened without a sexual partner, duplicating itself like the first cell did, perfecting itself and coming up with a process that could, let's say, pollinate in order to perpetuate the species. All this was happening at sea, but it was not just one creature doing it, but thousands or millions of them, at the same time in a separate way each. Do we have any idea of how many species exist just in the sea? Let us say that the sea is filled with many living sea creatures. Until now we have been able to see a Masterful intelligence at work that according to the materialistic scientist does not exist.

All this complicated process came to be by itself. But let us not forget the huge amount of plant life that also exists at sea and like everything that has life has to feed itself, and plant life in the food chain had to be first and started the same way as animal life in its own separate way. What Incredible Intelligence is manifest here! Let us remember that the materialistic minds state that no such intelligence exists. Now some species decide to come out of the water and into dry land to find better conditions, or to explore and they too had to go into a process of change, the cause was due to the new eviroment that made them change their fins to legs in order to walk the earth. That is what the materialistic minds state is the process of Evolution.

This evolution guides in a very intelligent way all organisms to perfect themselves according to their needs. And that is how some of them became birds, others mammals, some others reptiles, some others in the thousands into insects and some stayed as micro-organisms, all this guided by a very impersonal intelligence called Nature, that coming from nowhere had an amazing wisdom. That amazing wisdom also guides Evolution so all the species perfect themselves and at the same time something else, a second impersonal intelligence called Natural Selection that makes the changes necessary for the survival of the species. How curious and contradictory, a materialistic science negates the existence of a live Being of Supreme Intelligence because they can not physically see him, but they accept EVOLUTION, NATURE and NATURAL SELECTION, and they consider them guides and extremely intelligent forces even when they cannot see them.

According to them, some of the mammals became monkeys, and then evolved in such a way that they improved all other evolutions beforehand and concluded in becoming the maximum manifestation of perfection in a species known as mankind. If you are following this process of reasoning, you will come to the conclusion that all this is not possible .This could not have happened inertly or by itself, materialistic science denies the existence of God as a Creator of everything that exists. They substitute Creation with argumentation that when analyzed as we are doing now, it can be seen that it is impossible, what they theorize as to the development of life and the creation of earth and the whole of the universe is impossible.

If every thing that exists in the universe, be it living or inanimate would have not been by itself as the materialistic scientist state, then..why does everything exist, including mankind? It is because there is a GOD that is responsible for everything created. This being is God Almighty and all knowing and has many qualitis that due to our human condition are unable to understand all of its powers. His eternity and not visibility to us are jus some of the condition difficult to comprehend. The Bible speaks to us about this God, and makes him known to us. And at the start of the Bible it tells us about this creation of the heavens and earth [the universe].

It does not tell us how or how long it took them, so that the astrophysicists can freely theorise about this and we could not contradic them because we do not know it either. However, what we do know is that life did not begin according to their theories because we have already seen this could not be. The Bible tells us that God created every living being, starting as it should be with plant life and then the seas, and later earth and the birds and much later his greatest creation, mankind.

But we have to make one thing clear, He created every species with its opposing genre, they did not have to evolve and were created the way they are. God is the creator of DNA, that is found in every living species there [in DNA] He put all the instructions so all species could reproduce themselves according to their own species, they did not have to change from fish to reptile or from lizard to dinosaur or from an earth animal, to a bird. It is true that there have been extinctions of some species, but they were planned by God in that way and now we can use them as energi, until now.
The masterful creation of God was mankind, The Bible tells us we were created from dust of the earth, and in the same way as all of the other species able to reproduce according to our kind. In this respect the information, The Bible gives us is simple and easy to accept if we believe that a GOD exists and we concede to believe in Him.

This acceptance its most sensible and logical, putting the explanation of the non believing materialistic scientist under scrutiny would not be able to pass any test and anyone with a sensible, logical mind after examining their theory can accept the inmense amount of life on our planet was developed by accident. The conclusion should be that there is the existence of a supreme being [GOD] that by means of His inmense wisdom and could construct all living creatures in which is included amazing and abundant plant life that He created with His inmense power.

Well we have seen that it is almost impossible for all of this to have happened by accident, for inert matter to develop itself until becoming a complete creature. All of these creatures found all over the planet with such grade of perfection, in a way that each creature, be it sea creature or land animal, or flying bird has to be planned by an intelligence so grand for it to have designed all creatures so perfectly.

Let us take as an example; the "giraffe", the tallest animal in the world, because of its height it can reach the tops of trees like no other animal can and with its long tongue (up to 55cm.), pick the leaves off of those trees and not get ,hurt by the thorns around the leaves. They also have very strong legs and they can defend themselves with them. The only disadvantage is when they go to have a drink of water they have to take a posture that makes them accessible to become easy prey for the other animals.

Other than that, it is a marvel of design. Now let us take the heaviest animal on earth; the "elephant", with its very unique organ; its trunk, it can use it to provide water for itself, lift any objects from the ground and tear limbs off of trees with no problem. It also has a pair of tusks it uses to defend itself, however, these tusks have made it a target of ivory hunters. What originated these two kinds of animals so different one from the other??

Let us now take two other examples; a bird, a hummingbird is a small bird, in fact the smallest bird in the world, but it is an excellent example of an engineering marvel, it can flap its wings up to 200 times a second and for the same reason can maintain itself, hovering, in a sort of floating position, as it feeds itself with the nectar of flowers, but when it moves it does it a tremendous speed, and its colors are like the rainbow (specially in the tropics). Engineers have imitated the hummingbird to design the helicopter and some scientists have tried to do the same with the rapid movement of their wings but to no avail.

Let us now see an animal that is the only mammal that flies. The bat has it own sonar system and uses it to fly around during the night or in dark caves and hunt for insects to feed itself. This sonar was also imitated by mankind and it is used by the navy to find different objects on the sea floor. The bat also is capable of maintaining static flight but its wings do not move at the same speed as those of the hummingbird. Going back to the same question, what originated the existence of two such different animals?

What about some sea creatures now?, the biggest of all is the whale; this creature is born, lives and reproduces itself in the water yet it is a mammal, it can reach the size of up to 33meters (blue whale). Something very interesting is that scientists now say that the whale came from land, can you believe that? who can understand them?

Now let us see a sticky example; the octopus, a mollusk, it has 8 arms, it can change color or take the appearance of its surroundings to hide from predators and if its necessary, it can escape by using a 'jet propelled action", it can also let ink out of itself to make it more difficult to see it while it escapes. Its arms have suckers that grab hold of its prey so it wont be able to escape its deadly embrace. They are ugly looking but tasty... yumm, onto our repeated question; what originated the existence of such different animals?

In our previous theme we saw that materialistic science only believes what it can see and gives merit to Evolution, Nature and Natural Selection. But, could these theories have sufficient power to be so intelligent for these to come about? Let us look at a definition of intelligence; "it is the capacity to learn, reason, solve problems, understand, think in an abstract way, know how to use knowledge".

These are a few definitions and I ask again, are there really forces powerful enough that are able to do it on their own? and, if they do exist who gave them that supreme intelligence? The scientists say that came about with time, but reality tells us that only works against them, because all you have to do is ask the archaeologists, that have to work very hard to understand older civilizations because their remains have been destroyed with the passing of time, even if they are still abundant on earth.

The only intelligence that is real and proven is the human being and it is because of their brain, an exceptional organ that only we have, as we saw when we defined intelligence. Because of this marvelous organ (the brain), we have been able to accumulate more than six thousand years of human history, but we have a lot more capacity to keep on learning and accumulating more knowledge and using this knowledge we can take advantage it for our own benefit, but even with our superior intelligence we have not been able to create life. Not even in its simplest form, like organic molecules, comprised of thousands and thousands of atoms.

How could all of this be created out of nothingness? The scientists as far advanced and intelligent as they are only learn from what already exists, they can create items from elements in hand. As an example they can construct a building from iron, steel, concrete; build a bomb taking the power of the atom (the base of all elements and matter that exists in the universe). How then can life, which is more complicated than mere matter, have begun by accident, and then direct itself in a process that requires an amazing wisdom and a superhuman power?

Let us look at the word wisdom; it signifies "the ability that comes from experience, enlightenment, reflection and the ability to seek out the truth and be able to use your better judgment and reach a better understanding of everything", "a well developed skill to use common sense, this definition is the opposite of dumbness, or stupidity or madness". I ask myself ...how can a power (lets call it that), go from the start of life, experience enlightenment, has reflected and discerned and understood how to direct all this marvelous process that culminated in the appearance of mankind, the biggest manifestation of creative wisdom? The materialistic scientist states that this has happened by the trial and error of nature... Could this be possible?

To be able to try and determine if it's an error or if it is correct, this requires an intelligence able to evaluate all determining factors. Can a "power" have such intelligence, enough intelligence to be able to make changes once it discovered the error? Believing in a possibility of the intelligent power is going opposite to the definition of wisdom . In the previous examples given with different animals; giraffe, elephant, hummingbird, bat, whale; we saw different designs between all those animals so specific that they manifest a superior intelligence and a superior wisdom to ours, so superior it is beyond our comprehension. But let us not just use these previous examples; let us look at all creation including plant life in which you will see a high grade of of perfection in its design and construction.

Let us now look at the word design: "the process of creation to make something new" "a plan or proposal to put in practice in final production" "mental configuration of something to be done, it is the project of something to be made". How can you speak of such marvelous designed projects that are all around nature if there is no designer? Somebody that developed and planned how to build (create) countless forms of life found in our planet? According to this way of thinking it is not logical nor does it have any basis for the scientist to prove.

Everything we see in the planet manifests design and these designs manifest a higher intelligence, higher than the human intelligence. How can impersonal "powers" like evolution or nature/natural selection be so intelligent even to our human level. We have seen that the other forces that exist in the universe like gravity, electricity, magnetism, etc., they just are, they only exist; they are impersonal and have no level of intelligence. We can try to find other beings that have these traits (intelligence and wisdom), but except for mankind nothing else does.

It is true that some animals have a certain degree of intelligence but to a very limited extent. A one year old child will have learned in that year more than a chimpanzee in all its life. What conclusion can we come to after discerning and analyzing this fact? That for everything that exists including all forms of life, it was necessary for a Supreme Being to exist, with an intelligence and a wisdom that surpasses our own understanding and comprehension.

When we accept this everything makes sense, everything becomes logical, everything is perfectly understandable, everything fits to perfection, we do not have to depend on theories or hypotheses that are unproven, like it is in the case of the materialistic scientists. Their theories are so illogical that they are unproven and their justification is that millions of years were needed for this process to come about.

But this same justification works against them because by not being able to prove it, it makes thinking people (the ones interested in their future), even if they were before materialistic, analyze and come to a conclusion that they were mistaken in believing those theories, absurd as they were, and focus on what is the real explanation as to how we were created, along with the rest of the universe.

By who? A Supreme Being (God) that has the infinite intelligence and who also is Almighty among other qualities that by themselves are the reason of our existence and all of the universe. Why should we believe in Him? In my previous theme we have seen that is impossible to see Him with our physical eyes, but we can see God with our eyes of believers, because all of creation shows us and tell us about Him (GOD).
